Fresh Tomato Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dark brown sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. fresh ripe tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
    1/2 c. nuts
    1/2 c. dates
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cream together the brown sugar and shortening.
    Add the eggs and next 5 ingredients.
    Stir in and mix well the tomatoes, nuts, dates and raisins.
    Mix well.
    Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes, or until done.
    Use cream cheese icing.
