Pear Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 gal. cut up pears
10 to 12 c. sugar

Preparation

Pour
sugar
over
pears and let set few hours or overnight. Cook
slowly until syrup is thickened.
Pour into jars and seal.
