Ingredients

5 c. unsifted flour
1/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 Tbsp. lukewarm water
3/4 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in water.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Cut in shortening.
Add buttermilk and yeast.
Knead and store in refrigerator in an airtight container. Roll out desired amount and bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
