Scalloped Oysters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. soft bread crumbs
1 c. dry cracker crumbs
3/4 c. melted butter
1 qt. oysters
1 tsp. salt (optional)
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1/2 c. oyster liquor
1/4 c. milk or cream
pepper to taste
Preparation

Mix bread crumbs, cracker crumbs and butter and spread half of the mixture in a large shallow pan (a large pie pan works well). Arrange oysters in two layers on the crumbs, add remaining ingredients and top with the rest of the crumbs.
Bake in hot (400\u00b0) oven for 30 minutes.
Serves 6.
Great for holiday dinners.
