Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. powdered sugar
    1 lb. butter or margarine
    6 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. sifted flour
    1/3 c. Pet milk
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Mix well after each addition.
    Gradually add flour, alternating with milk; mix well.
    Blend in flavoring.
    Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
    Check for doneness.
    If needed, bake another 10 minutes.
    Cool 10 minutes in pan.
    Remove from pan; cool thoroughly.
