Pat'S Poppy Cock - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. popped corn
    1/2 c. pecans or peanuts
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 stick margarine
    1/4 c. Karo syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 Tbsp. butter flavoring
    1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Spread popped corn on large cookie sheet and add pecans and/or peanuts.
    Mix brown sugar, margarine, Karo syrup and salt and bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat; add soda, butter flavoring and vanilla.
    Stir.
    Dribble over popcorn and stir well.
    Place in 200\u00b0 oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Remove and let cool.
