Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. black walnuts, chopped
1 c. canned milk
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating 3 minutes for each.
Mix walnuts through 1/2 cup flour and baking powder.
Set aside.
Add remaining flour and milk alternately. Add walnuts.
Add vanilla last.
Bake in a greased 10-inch tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 75 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
