Baked Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk, scalded
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine eggs, sugar and salt.
    Slowly stir in slightly cooled milk and vanilla.
    Place six 5-ounce custard cups in shallow pan on oven rack.
    Pour hot water around cups one inch deep.
    Pour in custard.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven 40 to 45 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
    For one large custard, bake in a one-quart casserole 60 minutes or until done.
    Do not cut until it is completely cool.
