Crock-Pot Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. tart apples
    2 c. apple cider or juice
    2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 (3-inch) strip lemon peel
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Core and peel apples and add to juice in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil and cook until soft.
    Put into crock-pot and add remaining ingredients. Cook on high during the day and low all night.
    Keep cooking until no more liquid shows.
