Molasses Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 egg
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. hot water
1/2 c. molasses

Preparation

Mix in order given, adding hot water last.
Bake until cake springs back when touched.
Bake at 350\u00b0.
