Lobster Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick butter
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 eggs
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter together, adding eggs and beating well. Then alternately add rest of ingredients.
    Makes 4 or 5 layers. Cook in greased cake pans at 325\u00b0 until lightly brown.
