Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    6 eggs, separated
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 lb. butter or oleo
    3 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Cream sugar and margarine.
    Beat in egg yolks.
    Mix in flour, soda, sour cream and flavorings.
    Beat until fluffy.
    Beat egg whites until a peak forms.
    Fold into mixture.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour in a well-greased angel food pan.
