Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 lb.) chicken, deboned and cut in pieces
    1 (8 oz.) box noodles, boiled and drained
    1/2 c. olive oil
    1/2 c. butter
    2 c. chopped onion
    1 green pepper, chopped
    4 garlic cloves, mashed
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1 c. canned tomatoes
    1/4 c. dry red wine
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Fry chicken in olive oil and butter for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
    Add onion, green pepper, garlic, basil, salt and black pepper; simmer for 5 minutes.
    Add tomatoes; bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add wine; simmer for 10 minutes.
    Put noodles into casserole.
    Serve chicken and sauce over noodles.
    Serves 6.
