Microwave Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cube butter or margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    16 c. popped popcorn
Preparation
    Mix butter, corn syrup, brown sugar and salt.
    Cook in microwave on High for 2 1/2 minutes; stir and cook an additional 3 1/2 minutes.
    Add soda and stir.
    Pour over popped corn in large brown paper bag.
    Roll down top and do not open until done.
    Put in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes on High.
    Take out and shake well; put back in microwave for 30 seconds.
    Shake well and put back in for 1 1/2 minutes.
    Shake well and put back in for 20 seconds. Put in large bowl or pan and let cool.
    As it is cooling, stir so it doesn't stick together.
