Meatball Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cream of vegetable soup
    1/2 soup can water
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. dry bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    dash of pepper
    1 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Blend soup and water.
    Measure out 1/4 cup of this mixture; combine with beef, egg, salt, bread, onion, parsley and pepper. Shape 12 meatballs; brown meat in shortening.
    Add remaining soup. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
    Stir now and then.
    If sauce is thin, remove cover and cook a few additional minutes.
