Peanut Butter Parfaits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. milk
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. peanut butter
    vanilla ice cream
    peanuts or crushed peanut brittle
Preparation
    In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, milk, corn syrup and butter.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves and butter melts.
    Remove from heat.
    Add peanut butter; beat smooth with rotary beater.
    Cool.
