Smoked Sausage Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 to 1 lb. fully cooked smoked sausage links, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
4 slices bacon, cut in pieces
2 medium onions, thinly sliced
4 medium potatoes, cut in pieces
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
2 c. milk
Preparation

Cook bacon in large saucepan until crisp.
Remove.
Add onions and cook until tender.
Pour off drippings.
Add potatoes, water, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover tightly and simmer 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Add milk, sausage and bacon; stir and heat slowly 10 to 12 minutes.
Serve.
