Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1 c. finely chopped onion
    1/2 c. fine bread crumbs
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 apple
Preparation
    In a small bowl, mix tomato sauce, Karo light corn syrup and mustard.
    Now, in a large bowl, mix 3/4 cup of the tomato mixture, 2 slightly beaten eggs, finely chopped, peeled apple, bread crumbs, onion, salt, nutmeg and pepper.
    Add ground beef; toss to blend.
    Put in an 11 x 7-inch baking dish and form a loaf.
    Cover with remaining tomato sauce.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
