Best Oatmeal Cookies(7 To 8 Dozen) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. raisins
1 c. water
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. margarine
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
4 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. ground cloves
2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. quick rolled oats
1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
1 (12 oz.) pkg. real chocolate chips
Preparation

Combine raisins and water in small saucepan and bring to a boil.
Add baking powder; stir well.
Let cool.
Drain; reserve liquid.
In large bowl, cream margarine and sugar with electric mixer.
Add eggs.
Combine flour, salt and spices.
Add flour mixture and raisin liquid alternately to mixture in bowl, mixing well after each addition.
Add vanilla and quick oats, mixing well. Remove from mixer.
Using large spoon, mix in raisins, nuts and chips.
Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Do not flatten.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Do not brown; cookies should not change color too much in baking and should be soft.
