Almond Joy Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 boxes sifted confectioners sugar
    2 cans Angel Flake coconut or 14 oz. pkg.
    2 c. toasted, sliced almonds
    1 can Eagle Brand milk
    1 stick oleo, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (1/4 lb.) paraffin
    8 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Mix first 6 ingredients and pat out 1/2-inch thick on a buttered baking sheet.
    Put into freezer until you can cut them. Cut in 1 x 2-inch strips.
    Dip in a mixture of melted paraffin and chocolate chips while chocolate mixture is warm.
