Mushroom Delite - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 to 1 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    1/4 c. butter
    9 slices buttered bread, cut into cubes
    1/2 c. onion
    1/2 c. green pepper
    1/2 c. celery
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    1 can mushroom soup
Preparation
    Saute onion, pepper and celery in butter until almost done. Add mushrooms. Set aside.
    Place 1/3 of bread in buttered dish, spoon half of veggies over bread, layer 1/3 bread and 1/2 veggies. Top with remaining bread.
    Pour egg and milk mixture over all. Spoon soup over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
