Pecan Chewies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light brown sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt butter, add sugars and blend well. Add eggs and mix well.
    Add flour and stir until there are no lumps; add pecans and vanilla.
    Pour into a long 1 1/2 to 2-inch deep pan, sprayed with cooking spray.
    Cook approximately 30 minutes.
    Do not use electric mixer.
