Pecan Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 stick butter
1/4 c. white Karo
1/2 c. milk
pinch of soda
1 c. pecans

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together, stirring occasionally.
Bring to boil, stirring constantly (shouldn't boil over 5 minutes).
Add pecans.
Whip with spoon for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes.
Drop on wax paper.
Should start to harden within 5 to 7 minutes.
