Chicken Chow Mein - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked, cut-up chicken
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. thinly sliced celery
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    2 c. chicken broth
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (1 lb.) can mixed Chinese vegetables, drained
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Brown chicken lightly in butter; add celery, onion, salt, chicken broth and pepper.
    Cook, covered, about 15 minutes or until celery and onion are tender.
    Add Chinese vegetables and mushrooms.
    Heat to a boiling point and add cornstarch mixed with soy sauce.
    Simmer for 2 minutes.
    Serve with chop suey noodles.
