Succotash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. fresh or 2 cans shelled beans
salt to taste
12 oz. can corn Niblets
pepper to taste
Preparation
-
Mix all ingredients and simmer over low heat until beans are soft and liquid is nearly gone for fresh beans and canned beans. Simmer until liquid reaches the consistency of thin gravy.
Add seasonings to taste.
Add butter, if desired.
