Scones - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. cold butter
1/2 c. raisins, soaked in hot water 1/2 hour and drained
1/2 c. half and half or cream
1 egg, beaten
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Cut the butter into the dry ingredients, using a pastry blender.
Add drained raisins to the flour mixture.
Use a fork and do not overmix.
It should take only a few turns to get a dough.
