24 Hour Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce, broken up in small pieces
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 box frozen green peas
1 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Break lettuce up into small pieces.
Do not cut or wash lettuce.
Must be dry as it is prepared.
Add in layers, the lettuce, chopped celery, onion and green pepper.
Add green peas, cooked in salted water, drained and cooled.
Do not add any other salt to salad.
Spread mayonnaise over top and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Seal with Saran Wrap or cover seal if using the large Tupperware bowl.
Refrigerate for at least 8 hours before serving.
Toss just before serving.
