Great Glogg - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. dry red wine
    2 cinnamon sticks
    4 to 5 cloves
    peel of 1 orange, cut into strips
    1 kiwi fruit, peeled and thinly sliced
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. dry roasted, unsalted mixed nuts (no peanuts)
    1 (750 ml) bottle fruity young red wine
    1 pt. brandy
    sugar
    additional nuts and raisins
Preparation
    Combine 3 cups dry, red wine, cinnamon, cloves, orange peel, kiwi, raisins and nuts in medium saucepan.
    Cover and simmer over very low heat for 3 to 5 minutes.
    Do not allow mixture to boil. Remove from heat and let stand at room temperature 45 minutes to steep.
