Pecan Supreme - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 c quick oats
3/4 c dark brown sugar, packed
3/4 c white sugar
1 c salted butter, softened
2 large eggs
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 c (4 oz) chopped pecans
1 c semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
In a medium bowl combine flour, soda, salt and oats. mix well with wire whisk and set aside.
In a large bowl blend sugars with an electric mixer at medium speed. Add butter and mix to form a grainy paste.
Scrape down sides of bowl, then add eggs and vanilla.
Beat at medium speed until fully combined.
Add the flour mixture, pecans and chocolate chips, and blend at low speed just until combined.
Do not overmix.
Drop dough by rounded tbsp onto ungreased cookie sheets, 1 1/2 inches apart.
Bake for 18-20 minutes.
Immediately transfer cookies with a spatula to a cool, flat surface.
Yield:
3 dozen.
