Ingredients

1 lb. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 lb. Ricotta cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs, cheese and salt.
Stir in sifted flour and baking soda.
If sticky, add a little more flour.
Roll into balls.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
