Lemon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    grated rind of 1 lemon
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    juice of 1 lemon
Preparation
    Cream 1 cup of sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs and beat.
    Add rind of lemon.
    Add flour all at once; add milk, then add baking powder and salt.
    Pour into greased pan; bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes.
