Deviled Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. corn, cut from cob
1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. water
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 drops hot sauce
1/4 c. (1 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Combine corn and water in a medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 7 to 8 minutes or just until corn is tender; drain.
Add butter, mustard, salt, pepper and hot sauce to corn.
Blend well.
Cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated. Stir in cheese; serve immediately.
Yields 4 servings.
