Cream Cheese Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 well beaten egg
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    2 Tbsp. buttermilk or plain yogurt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/8 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Blend until creamy the butter, sugar and egg.
    Beat in cream cheese, buttermilk or yogurt and vanilla.
    Add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
    Beat well.
    Roll into slight 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet 2 to 3-inches apart.
    Using fork dipped in flour, press onto cookie and flaten slightly.
    Sprinkle with colored sugars or a cinnamon-sugar mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes or until set.
    Do not brown!
    Yields 60 (2-inch) cookies.
