Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. flour
    2 c. chopped rhubarb
Preparation
    Cream together the butter and brown sugar.
    Add the egg, buttermilk, soda, salt and vanilla.
    Fold in the flour.
    Add the rhubarb and nuts.
    Pour into a greased 9 x 9-inch square pan.
