Marinated Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can whole green beans
    1 c. English peas
    1 small jar pimento
    4 stalks celery
    2 small white onions, sliced in rings
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. white vinegar
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a sauce pan combine sugar and vinegar, boil to dissolve sugar.
    Cool.
    Add cooking oil and salt.
    Pour over vegetables and marinate 24 hours.
