Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 1/2 to 4 lb.) broiler-fryer
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. margarine, melted
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 c. uncooked regular rice
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
Preparation
    Remove giblets.
    Rinse chicken with cold water; pat dry. Sprinkle cavity and skin with salt and pepper; truss chicken. Place in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Pour melted butter over chicken.
    Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Remove from oven. Combine remaining ingredients; spoon around chicken.
    Cover with foil and bake an additional 30 minutes.
    Uncover and bake 15 minutes.
    Yield:
    4 to 6 servings.
