4-Layered Marinated Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head lettuce, cut
    2 c. salad dressing or mayonnaise
    1/2 c. celery, cut into small pieces
    1 medium green pepper, cut into small pieces
    1 small sweet onion
    1 pkg. frozen peas (must be frozen when mixed)
    shredded or grated Cheddar cheese (amount optional)
    crisp bacon, broken into small pieces (amount optional)
Preparation
    Place the lettuce in a 9 x 13-inch pan or large, round container about that size.
