Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. butter
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Cream the butter and add sugar. Beat egg yolks. Add to butter and sugar.
    Add flour (baking powder sifted in) and 1 tablespoon sweet milk (cream is better).
    Fold in egg whites (beaten stiff). Add flavoring.
