Philly Beef Sandwiches - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 medium onions
2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
6 bulky rolls, split and toasted
1 lb. thinly sliced, cooked roast beef
12 slices processed American cheese
Preparation

Cook and stir onions in margarine until tender, about 10 minutes.
Place bottom half of buns on ungreased cookie sheet. Top with onions and beef.
Cut cheese slices in half.
Place 4 halves on each sandwich.
Broil with tops, 5 to 6-inches from heat, until cheese melts.
Makes 6 sandwiches.
