Jello Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large box jello (any flavor)
    1 c. fruit, cut in small pieces (the fruit is optional)
    2 c. water (this is only half the water indicated on the pkg.)
Preparation
    Heat 1 cup of water to boiling.
    Stir in the jello until it dissolves.
    Remove from heat.
    Add second cup of water.
    When cool, add the fruit, if desired.
    Pour into cupcake pans and cool in the refrigerator until set.
