Pecan Butter Balls (Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar and salt; work in butter and vanilla.
    Add 2 cups of nuts; mix well.
    Shape into 1-inch balls.
    Bake cookies in a slow oven, 325\u00b0, for about 25 minutes.
    Roll warm cookies in fine granulated sugar (I prefer to use powdered sugar).
    Makes about 4 1/2 dozen.
