Sausage Baked With Sweet Potatoes 'N' Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 large sweet potatoes
    2 lb. sausage meat
    8 large apples
    salt
    light brown sugar
    milk
Preparation
    Boil potatoes until tender.
    Drain, peel and cut into thin slices.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a 2 1/2-quart casserole dish and cover bottom with half the sweet potatoes.
    Shape sausage into 8 flat cakes and brown lightly.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Peel apples and cut into thick slices.
    Place sausage on sweet potatoes in casserole dish and cover with all of the apples.
    Sprinkle lightly with salt and brown sugar.
    Place remaining potatoes on apples.
    Brush with milk and sprinkle with brown sugar.
    Bake for 45 minutes.
