Yummy Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. long grain rice
    3 c. milk
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a heavy medium saucepan, bring 3 cups of water to a boil. Add rice to boiling water.
    Reduce heat.
    Cover and cook over very low heat about 15 minutes or until rice is tender.
    Remove from heat and strain the water off the rice in a strainer.
    Return rice to saucepan and add the remaining ingredients.
