Jalapeno Corn Bread - cooking recipe

2 1/2 c. corn meal
1 c. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. oil
1 lb. cream-style corn
6 to 10 mashed jalapeno peppers
2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
2 c. chopped onions
Preparation

Stir together corn meal, flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. In a separate bowl, beat eggs lightly; stir in milk and cooking oil.
Add liquid to dry mixture.
Stir in corn, peppers, cheese and onions.
Pour in greased pan and cook until done.
