Waldorf Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 large red Delicious apples
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 stalks celery, diced
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/3 to 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/3 to 1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Cut unpeeled apples into 1/4 to 1/2-inch chunks and drop into a large bowl.
Sprinkle lemon juice over apples and mix thoroughly (this keeps apples from discoloring).
Add the celery, raisins and walnuts; stir.
In another bowl, combine mayonnaise and milk to suit your taste.
Mix until smooth, then stir into salad mixture, tossing well.
Chill several hours before serving.
