Strawberry Whip Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. strawberries
    1 c. chilled whipping cream
    1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    baked 8-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Wash and hull the strawberries, then slice in quarters.
    Save several perfect strawberries for garnish, if desired.
    Just before serving, whip the cream in a chilled bowl with a chilled beater until stiff.
    Add lemon juice, then beat in sugar.
    Fold the strawberries lightly and turn into the pie shell.
    Top with the selected whole strawberries.
    Serve at once.
    Makes 5 servings.
