Fruit Nut Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 boxes brown sugar
3 sticks magarine
6 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla
3 c. plain flour
3 to 5 c. pecans, chopped
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1/2 lb. candied pineapple
Preparation

Spread nuts in 2 large pans.
Cream butter or margarine and sugar together.
Add eggs; beat in flour and vanilla.
Pour over nuts.
Cut up candied fruit in small bits and pour over batter. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
