Croccignoles(An Old Canadian Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    3/4 lb. butter
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. whiskey
    oil or shortening (for deep frying)
    6 eggs
    1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    7 or 8 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together until dough is well mixed.
    Dough should be fairly firm.
    Roll on lightly floured board until dough is about 1/4-inch thick.
