Chicken-In-A-Pot(Crock-Pot Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 carrots, sliced
    2 onions, sliced
    2 stalks celery, cut into 1-inch pieces
    1 (3 lb.) whole broiler/fryer chicken
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. water or chicken broth
Preparation
    Place carrots, onions and celery in bottom of crock-pot.
    Add whole chicken; salt and pepper and add liquid.
    Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 3 1/2 to 5 hours.
    High requires 1 cup liquid.
    Remove chicken and vegetables with spatula.
