Maple Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. maple syrup
2 1/2 c. bran flakes, crushed
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
Preparation

Combine the first 3 ingredients in a large bowl; make a well in center.
Combine egg and maple syrup in small bowl, stirring well; add bran flakes and let stand 5 minutes.
Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
Spoon into greased muffin pans, filling 2/3 full.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
Remove from pans immediately.
Yield: 15 muffins.
